Tiffani Thiessen Admits Her Memories of Saved by the Bell ‘Seem to Get Smaller and Smaller’

The actress spoke about the holidays on set and off during a recent event with Kraft Natural Cheese
Every ’90s sitcom seemingly went hard on the holidays, rolling out special episodes around Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Interestingly, Saved by the Bell never had quite as many festive moments, aside from a few Christmas and Thanksgiving episodes between the original and the College Years.
“We never did holidays on set,” star Tiffani Thiessen, 50, tells PEOPLE. “I don’t think we ever shot anytime near the holidays. If I remember correctly, I do remember a couple holiday episodes, and definitely fun. But as I’m getting older, my memories of that stuff seem to get smaller and smaller.”
Thiessen is happy to focus on this holiday season, however, sharing recipes and cooking tips recently at an event with Kraft Natural Cheese in Chicago.
“I’m definitely a cheese lover,” she admits. “And I think if you put cheese in any dish, my kids will probably eat it. They snack on cheese, they put cheese in their sandwiches. They love pizza, they love enchiladas. So we have a lot of staple recipes that we use that definitely have Kraft Natural Cheese in it. They just love cheese like I do!”
The actress says Thanksgiving with husband Brady Smith and kids Harper and Holt is “one of my favorite holidays” for cooking. “We have my favorite stuffing, which I get so excited to make every year because I only make it for Thanksgiving,” she says. “And then I use leftovers to make waffles out of them, which are really great.”
She often shares her recipes and hacks on Instagram and TikTok, though admits she “hasn’t cracked” the latter just yet.
“That’s this younger generation that is very much on the trends, but I have fun with it. I’ve had some really fun stuff to do there. But I’m definitely an Instagram girl,” she says. “That’s definitely more my speed.”
Aside from keeping busy with her food and family — and her 2023 cookbook, Here We Go Again, Recipes and Inspiration to Level Up Your Leftovers, which “took almost three years from start to finish,” she shares — Thiessen has something else cooking.
“There is definite movement, which is exciting, with White Collar coming back,” she shares of her fan-favorite drama. “So I’m excited!”
