Cast-Iron Supreme Pizza

What You Need

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided 
  • 1 lb. frozen pizza dough, thawed 
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce 
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 
  • 1/2 cup cooked crumbled Italian sausage 
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 
  • 1/4 cup each chopped green peppers and onions 
  • 12 slices pepperoni 
  • 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese 

Let’s Make It

  1. Heat oven to 450°F. 
  2. Brush 1 Tbsp. oil onto bottom and up side of 12-inch cast-iron skillet. 
  3. Pat dough into 12-inch round on lightly floured work surface. Lightly press dough onto bottom and up side of skillet. Spread pizza sauce onto dough on bottom of skillet; top with remaining ingredients except Parmesan cheese.  
  4. Bake 20 to 25 min. or until cheese is melted and edge of crust is golden brown. Remove from oven.  Brush edge of crust with remaining oil.  Let stand 5 min. before topping with Parmesan cheese and cutting to serve.  

Kitchen Tips

  • How to Season a Cast-Iron Skillet: 

    Wash skillet. Dry with kitchen towel. Place skillet over stove-top burner set on high heat. Heat until skillet is completely dry. Add 1/2 tsp. vegetable or canola oil to skillet. Remove skillet from heat. Carefully use paper towel to rub oil onto bottom and up side of skillet. Return skillet to burner; heat just until skillet starts to smoke. Cool completely, then store skillet until ready to use as desired.
