Jalapeño Grilled Cheese

What You Need

  • 4 slices multi-grain bread
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 KRAFT Big Slice Pepper Jack Cheese Slices
  • 2 KRAFT Big Slice American Cheese Slices
  • 4 tsp. butter, softened

Let’s Make It

  1. Fill bread slices with next 3 ingredients to make 2 sandwiches. Spread outsides of sandwiches with remaining butter.
  2. Cook in skillet on medium heat 2 min. on each side or until cheese is melted and sandwiches are golden brown on both sides.

Kitchen Tips

  • Add a Crushed Pretzel Crust to the sandwich 

    1. Crush about 16 small pretzel twists, or about 3 large twists, to get 1/3 cup crumbs
    2. Whisk 1 egg and 3 Tbsp. milk in pie plate until blended.
    3. Dip sandwiches, 1 at a time, in egg mixture, then in pretzel crumbs, turning to evenly coat both sides of each sandwich with both ingredients. 
    4. Then cook in a skillet on medium heat 2 min. on each side or until cheese is melted.
