Parmesan-Crusted French Toast

What You Need

  • 2 eggs 
  • 3/4 cup milk 
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic 
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley, divided 
  • 3 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese 
  • 4 slices country white bread, 1-inch thick 
  • 2 Tbsp. butter 

Let’s Make It

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, garlic and 2 Tbsp. parsley in pie plate until blended.  Dip bread slices, 1 at a time, in egg mixture, turning to evenly coat both sides.  Sprinkle Parmesan evenly over each side of bread slices; press gently into bread to secure. 
  2. Melt butter in large heavy nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add bread slices to skillet, in batches if necessary. Cook 4 to 5 min. or until golden brown on both sides, turning after 3 min.  
  3. Serve topped with remaining parsley.
